The 2022 Range Rover Evoque is remarkably stylish inside and out with lively acceleration.

The BMW X3 offers a delightful ride, better fuel efficiency in solid competition with the Evoque, though it is beat out somewhat in design. Agile and daring with its optional M40i inline-six engine, it offers a 2.0 L 4-cylinder capable of 248-hp and AWD as a standard.

The M40i is where it’s at, with 382-hp and a 0-60 in just 4.4 seconds. It can tow up to 4,400 pounds and has a fuel efficiency of 23 city/29 highway. The X3 offers available adaptive suspension as well.

If it’s the Evoque’s classy design you are after, you’ll find it in abundance in the Cadillac XT5 with an aggressively handsome exterior and well-appointed and quiet interior. Like the Evoque, it will not wow those seeking a sporty driving experience.

Under the hood, you’ll find a standard turbocharged 237-hp 4-cylinder engine that upgrades to a 310-hp V-6 capable of providing 1,000 pounds of towing capacity. The XT5 delivers confident handling on curvy roads and has available adaptive suspension.

Like the Evoque, the Infiniti QX5 offers an attractive design and sedate drive, but it improves upon the Evoque with plenty of room and exceptional comfort.

It features a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with variable compression that produces 268-hp with available AWD. This does grant zippy acceleration, but the engine is noisy. The suspension ensures the ride is smooth, even over rough roads.

The highest trim level offers opulent materials like quilted leather seats, wood trim,  and a faux-suede headliner. Still, even the base model is comfortable and attractive, with plenty of space for passengers and cargo.
