Defining the Audi A7

Audi has been producing the executive luxury coupe known as the A7 since 2010. It is a five-door liftback with four frameless doors, a sloping roofline, a steeply slanted rear window, and an integrated boot lid that gives it the recognizable “Sportback” appearance.

In comparison to its predecessors, the Audi A7 is designed with even more bells and whistles, including but not limited to:

An Efficiency Like No Other

With the Audi A7, you won’t be settling for anything less than the high gas mileage you’d expect from a luxury vehicle. This automobile gets 24 miles per gallon on the highway and 7-speed transmission, which is excellent for any car.

The Audi A7 offers everything you need to travel where you need to go in style – without having to make additional stops at gas stations.

Virtual Cockpit

With the virtual cockpit in the Audi A7, you’ll always feel in control. The driver can use this feature to see any other vehicles, obstacles, parking spaces, rest areas, or restaurants that are nearby while they are driving.

The driver has complete control over the settings within the virtual cockpit and can select exactly what displays on the screen. Finding a parking spot or a place to eat has never been easier; just view it from your personal virtual cockpit, click, and go!

Remote Park Assist

Want assistance parking your car? You’re covered by the remote park assist feature on the Audi A7. Through remote automation, you can use this capability to park your car in both parallel and perpendicular spaces.

Are you faced with a challenging parking space that you are afraid to attempt? We’ve been there – and the Audi A7 can help you achieve your goals. You aren’t even required to be inside the car while it is parking! Even while you are standing outside the car, you can regulate when the car parks using the remote automation.

An Easier Steering Option

This Audi A7 feature, in our opinion, complements the vehicle’s other drive elements (see above). No matter the road you’re traveling on, you can always be sure you’re in control of your car, thanks to power-adjustable steering.

This function is a huge asset to any car because it makes driving easier, no matter how long the drive. You’ll feel comfortable taking on any road trip with this extra convenience!

Defining the Porsche Panamera

The German automaker Porsche produces the mid-size/full-sized luxury sedan known as the Porsche Panamera. It is front-engined and rear-wheel-drive by default, though all-wheel drive models are also offered.

The Porsche Panamera is a luxury vehicle that is sure to turn some heads. It is equipped with advanced features including, but not limited to:

Have We Mentioned Fuel Efficiency?

One of the biggest commonalities between the Audi A7 and Porsche Panamera (besides the luxury interiors!) is the efficiency of the drive. As we mentioned earlier, the Audi A7 comes in at 24 miles per gallon, and the Porsche Panamera is an exact 24 MPG, as well.

For the most part, any luxury car should be able to get you where you need to go efficiently, but these two maybe some of your best options if you are choosing a new vehicle based on the efficiency of the drive alone.

Style on Style

It’s no secret that the Porsche Panamera is designed with style in mind. Just one look into the interior of these vehicles and you’ll know you’re driving in luxury.

Depending on the model, different interior options may be available, but these vehicles can come equipped with everything from massage seats to climate-controlled vents to power-operated sunshades.

Storage Space

If you’re searching for optimal cargo space, the Porsche Panamera may just be the car for you. While not all luxury vehicles come equipped with storage space you may see in more common vehicles, the Porsche Panamera certainly does.

In fact, this stylish car comes with approximately 18 cubic feet of cargo space! So, bring those extra luggage bags on your road trip – you don’t have to worry about making them fit! Ride with style and ample space in the Porsche Panamera.

Lane-Keeping Assist

With the Porsche Panamera, driving has never been simpler. With impressive tech and safety features, you’ll be able to drive confidently, knowing your vehicle is doing everything it can to keep you safe.

One of our personal favorite features of the Porsche Panamera is its lane-keeping assist capabilities. Your car will let you know when you’re drifting into another lane and will help line the vehicle back up properly. No more weaving between lanes!

Performance of the Audi A7 vs. Porsche Panamera

If you’re looking for a car for performance alone, you can’t go wrong with either the Audi A7 or the Porsche Panamera. As we mentioned earlier, they both get 24 miles per gallon, making your destinations easier.

Wherever you choose to go, you can rest assured either luxury vehicle will do its job in getting you there.

You may be surprised to find that the Audi A7 and Porsche Panamera, while similar in features and performance, tend to vary in price. You’ll probably be looking at the mid-to-higher end of luxury automobile pricing for the A7 because it’s a more recent model. Although you might be able to acquire an Audi A7 in the higher $60,000 bracket, you should generally plan to spend approximately $70,000.

Durability of the Audi A7 and Porsche Panamera

These are premium vehicles, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t long-lasting. You may be sure that the car you buy will last for many years because of the strong safety features and exterior materials these vehicles both come equipped with.

You’ll be relieved to learn that both Audis and Porsches are robust and long-lasting, given that these vehicles are on the more expensive side. Therefore, you’ll be spending money on a car that will follow you on all subsequent travels to come.

Much like the Audi A7, the Porsche Panamera was also unveiled back in 2009, making it a fairly new model of Porsche, as well. 2011 saw the introduction of hybrid and diesel models, and a facelift for the Panamera was announced in April 2013.  In November 2013, the Panamera S E-Hybrid, a plug-in hybrid, was made available on the American market.

In 2016, the Panamera range received yet another redesign, creating the stylish vehicle we see with more modern models today.
