2022 Audi A4

The A4’s MSRP ranges from $39,900 to $51,900 with a range of 252-365 horsepower. It’s nice that the 2022 Audi A4 has a powerful engine, good handling, a luxury interior, and a straightforward information display system. When it comes to the car itself, though, the trunk space is merely average.

There is a touch screen interface that is straightforward and intuitive to operate, and the inside has a high-end feel that is both comfy and luxurious. In 2022, there are no major changes.

9 grades are available with 201-349 horsepower AWD and 20-25 city/28-34 highway mpg on this five-AWD seater’s drivetrain. In just over five seconds, it goes from zero to sixty miles per hour.

Cars Similar to The Audi A4

To give you an idea of what other cars are, like the G70, we’ve compiled a list of others that are comparable in a variety of ways.

1. 2022 BMW 3 Series

A red BMW 3 Series parks on the side of the road in the woods.

From $41,450 to $76,900, the 2022 BMW 3 Series MSRP includes six different trim levels. Even while it’s fun to drive and has a roomy interior, its understated cabin quality prevents it from taking the top spot in our rankings of premium small cars.

I appreciate the many powerful engine options, the unpredictable handling, and the enormous trunk, as well as the two rows of seats that are both spacious and comfortable, that the vehicle offers.

However, it’s not as lavish as some of its rivals. Until 2022, the M3 plus instrument cluster with a digital display is standard on the M3 with all-wheel drive.

The 330i has a four-cylinder turbocharged engine, whereas the M340i has a six-cylinder turbo engine. PHEV: The 330e The car comes with a standard rear-wheel drive and automatic 8-speed transmission. However, you can add BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive for $2,000.

This car seats five and has both all-wheel and rear-wheel drivetrains while achieving between 16 and 26 mpg on local roads and between 23 and 36 mpg along the highway. When accelerating from zero to sixty miles per hour, it takes 4.1 secs.

2. 2022 Genesis G70

Front view of a white-colored Genesis G70 luxury sedan parked.

One of the most affordable premium small automobiles on the market today is the Genesis G70, which has a starting price of $37,525. As much as it’s delightful to drive, it’s not the most spacious vehicle in its class.

AWD, similar horsepower, similar seating capacity, and a sumptuous interior are just a few of the similarities between the G70 and the Audi A4.

That the interior design is magnificent, the handling is outstanding, and the power is readily available is what I enjoy most about this vehicle. V6’s infotainment system is easy to use, but the rear seats are cramped and the trunk is small. The manual transmission will be phased away by 2022, and the vehicle’s interior and exterior styling will be refreshed to match.

A five-seater with RWD and AWD delivers you 17-21 city/25-31 highway depending on the trim level you choose. It has a top speed of 145mph and a 0-60 time of seven seconds, making it one of the fastest cars on the market.

3. 2022 Audi A5

A brandnew white Audi A5 in a dealer showroom.

The MSRP of the 23 different 2022 Audi A5 trims ranges from $43,500 to $76,200. I enjoy that the Audi A5 has a variety of powerful engines that are paired with nimble handling, making it a pleasure to drive. In addition, the interior is sumptuous and feature-rich.

Sporty handling and smooth and comfortable rides are complemented by sporty engine options and polished cabin quality. The base price is hefty. However, the information technology features are simple to use.

The trunk space in the coupes and convertibles is limited. Optional wifi Android Auto is part of RS 5’s new 2022 bundle, which streamlines the vehicle’s features.

Seating for 4-5 people, 18-25 in the city and 25-34 on the highway, 201-444 horsepower on its AWD drivetrain. It has a top speed of 130.5 mph and takes 6.8 seconds to reach 60 mph.

4. 2022 Mercedes-Benz C Class

Front view of a gleaming Mercedes Benz C Class parked near the river.

Its price ranges from $41,600 to $85,600 for the 2021 Mercedes-Benz C Class. It is at the top of our list of the best little luxury cars. My favorite feature of this car is that it’s extremely powerful but that it’s a little jerky to drive.

I appreciate the high-quality interior design, the smooth ride, and the powerful engines that differentiate AMG vehicles. A vast variety of options is available.

It’s less nimble than some of its rivals and has a cramped back seat in coupes and cabriolets. It’s no longer optional to have heated front seats and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster in your vehicle.

There is 17-24 city/35 highway mpg with the RWD drivetrain, while the AWD version has 255-503 hp and seats 4-5 passengers. 132 miles per hour is the top speed limited to, and it can reach 60 mph in 6.1 seconds.

5. BMW 2 Series

BMW 2 Series for the year 2022

The 2022 BMW 2 Series has a starting price of $35,700 and can go up to $48,550. With five trims to choose from, it stands out as one of the best luxury small cars thanks to its powerful engine options and responsive handling.

It offers zippy engines, plush seating, agile handling, and a bevy of standard equipment. My eyes are drawn to the stunning interior design. Because of the coupe body style, the trunk and backseat are both relatively cramped. By 2022, the coupe will have had a significant facelift.

Seating for 4-5 people and 23-26 city/32-35 highway mpg are included in the package. AWD, FWD, and RWD all have 228-382 hp and a top speed of 60 mph between 4.1 and 5.5 seconds, depending on the trim.

6. 2022 BMW 4-Series

A glossy black BMW 4 Series parked during fall season.

This year’s BMW 4 Series has four trim levels with base prices between $45,200 and $86,300. There are a few other luxury little vehicles that combine style and performance as well as this one. With its powerful engine, sporty handling, and luxurious interior, it’s the perfect vehicle for me.

In addition to the basic features, the Gran Coupe offers a wide cargo area, and the car’s acceleration and handling are well-balanced. In comparison to other models in this class, the starting price is exorbitant, and the cabin isn’t as lavish as some of its rivals.

The 4/5-seater has a range of 16-26 city, 23-34 highway, and an RWD or AWD powertrain. Acceleration from zero to 60 miles per hour takes just four seconds.

7. 2022 Kia Stinger

A glossy red Kia Stinger on display at the Auto Show.

With pricing ranging from $36,990 to $53,490, the 2022 Kia Stinger has six different model options. Its powerful engines, roomy load space, and user-friendly electronics help the Stinger place in the top half of the highly competitive premium small vehicle sector.

I enjoy the turbocharged engines, as well as the wide selection of standard equipment that includes information and driver support systems. There is a lot of room in the cargo space, and the base price is inexpensive for the class.

Both the interior and external design elements have been modernized in anticipation of the year 2022. The standard active safety features include a 10.25-inch touch screen and other active safety features.

The five-seater has a drivetrain for AWD, which provides 17-22 city, 24-32 highway, and AWD with 300-368hp. It reaches a top speed of 167mph and reaches 60mph in under 4.7seconds.

8. 2022 Volvo S60

The price of a new 2021 Volvo S60 starts at $38,950 and goes up to $64,800. A total of 13 different options are available.

There is a lot to admire on the 2022 Volvo S60. It does fall short, however, on trunk space.

The interior craftsmanship is of the finest level, the five-seater comfort is great, and the strong engines are a big draw for me, too. The car has a smaller trunk, but it is equipped with a wider range of basic driver-aid features.

The Volvo S60 has a range of 21-23 city, and 32-34 highway, with a range of 250-415 horsepower from its FWD and AWD drivetrains. It has a top speed of 112 mph and a 4.7-second acceleration to 60 mph.

9. 2022 Infiniti Q50

The 2022 Infiniti Q50’s MSRP ranges from $42,100 to $57,950 for models with 255-503 horsepower. There are a total of six different levels of trim to choose from.

It’s sturdy and comfortable, which I appreciate. As far as athleticism and modernism are concerned, it does not measure up to some of its competitors.

It has a powerful engine and comfortable seats, but the driving experience is a disappointment. Disgruntled with the in-vehicle entertainment system.

Powered by a 300-400hp RWD drivetrain, the 5-seater can reach a top speed of 19-20 city, and 26-29 highway. It has a top speed of 181 mph and takes 4.5 seconds to reach 60 mph.

10. Lexus IS-2022

A display of a shiny Lexus IS on a white floor.

Prices for the Lexus IS range from $38,625 to $45,050, depending on the model. However, despite the IS’s excellent handling, a wide range of powertrains, and basic safety systems, the IS falls short when it comes to cabin room, infotainment system usability, fuel economy, and pricing.

It offers nimble handling, a powerful V8 engine that can be had as an option, and a slew of basic techniques and safety features. The infotainment system is cumbersome, and the backseats are a pain.

The horsepower ranges from 241 to 472 and the MPG ranges from 21 city/31 highway for this five-seater. AWD and RWD drivetrains give you a top speed of 149mph and a 0-60 time of 4.3 seconds, respectively.

11. 2022 Lexus RC

World premiere of gleamy red Lexus RC presented on a white floor.

From $42,470 to $101,095 is what you’ll pay as the starting price for the lowest to the highest trim Lexus RC. There are a total of five trim options for customizing your vehicle.

The Lexus RC 2022 is a luxury compact car ranked at the bottom of the field. Its agility, backseat spaciousness, and ease of use of the infotainment system fall short of rivals.

My favorite aspects of the vehicle include its powerful engines with plenty of torque, a big list of standard features, and an amazing interior design. Rear passengers will be cramped, and the starting price is prohibitive.

Up to 21 city MPG and 31 highway MPG are possible with this four-seater. Its horsepower ranges from 241 to 472. All-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive options are available.

A speed of 170 mph may be reached in just 3.96 seconds when going from 0 to 60 mph.

12. 2022 The Acura TLX

Display of glossy black Acura TLX together with other cars at the back.

The 2022 Acura ILX’s MSRP ranges from $26,500 to $32,400. This vehicle provides a comfortable trip.

The car gets excellent gas mileage, the ride is smooth, and the purchase price is affordable. Uninspiring handling and a difficult-to-use infotainment system make it a frustrating drive, while the backseats feel cramped.

With its front-wheel-drive (FWD) drivetrain, this five-passenger vehicle can easily navigate City 34 and Highway 24. This car can reach speeds of up to 130 miles per hour and sprints from 0-60 mph in just 6.6 seconds.

13. 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia

Front view of white Alfa Romeo Giulia standing in the middle of the desert.

There are seven model levels of the 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia, ranging in price from $42,950 to $78,830 MSRP. Despite its sturdy powertrains and decent handling, the interior of the 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia is not as up-to-date or luxurious as the interiors of many other luxury small vehicles.

Despite the engaging driving, powerful engines and a smooth ride, and plush front seats, I find the backseat to be cramped and the price to be prohibitive. The Veloce trim has taken the place of the sporty features and specifications for 2022

This five-seater has a power range of 280-505hp, with an RWD or AWD drivetrain delivering 17-24 city/25-33 highway mpg. At its highest speed, the car can reach 149mph in 3.8 seconds.

14. Audi A3

On the side of the road in a gorgeous autumn setting, a blue Audi A3 was parked.

The Audi A3 ($34,800 – $45,800 MSRP) will be available in nine trim levels by 2022. One of the best-rounded luxury small cars on the market now features powerful engines, a smooth ride, and a high-quality interior after a thorough overhaul.

I appreciate the smooth ride, engaging dynamics, spacious and supportive seats, and good fuel economy made possible by an easy-to-use infotainment system.

It does, however, have a somewhat small trunk. They’ve started from scratch on a new design for 2022.

There are five seats, 22 city/29 highway, and fwd/was and 201-306hp in the five-seater. The top speed is 140mph and it sprints to 60mph in 6.2 seconds.

15. Cadillac CT4

Display of gleaming blue Cadillac CT4 in an auto show.

Price ranges for the Cadillac CT4 are from $33,695 and $58,995, depending on whatever model you choose. Five various trim levels have been covered.

The CT4’s remarkable momentum brings on a smile as its handling can’t be denied. However, the vehicle’s stiflingly limited cabin room has to be taken into account.

The CT4 Blackwing’s most lavish CT4 Super Cruise is now available for purchase. Many more choices have been added to the menu. All standard functions, including automatic high-beam illumination, lane-keeping assistance, and wireless device charging, are available.

For city driving, the CT4 gets between 16 and 23mpg, while on the interstate, it gets between 24 and 34mpg. You can expect a drivetrain with horses between 235 and 325 in both all-wheel and rear-wheel-drive configurations.
